We love our days out with the kids, and I am always in search of local days out and events in Staffordshire. Here are some great Easter events taking place over Easter in Staffordshire suitable for all of the family. Enjoy Easter in and around Stoke on Trent. Read on for Easter events for kids.
World of Wedgwood – Easter Holiday fun (4th – 9th April 2020)
We are huge fans of World of Wedgwood, Stoke-on-Trent, and this Easter there is lots going on including themed creative activities to Factory Tours. There are half price children’s meals, a children’s nature trail through Hem Heath Woods and an Easter bunny hunt. You can also enjoy Pot Throwing, Pottery Painting and Ceramic Design.

Trentham Monkey Forest (Saturday 4th April- Sunday 19th April 2020)
Take part in the Easter Trail, find the bunnies and the clues and discover the missing word to be entered into a prize draw to win a cuddle Barbary Macaque.
There will also be face painting* every weekend of the Easter holidays. *extra charges apply.

Biddulph Grange Gardens (10th -13th April 2020 9.30am – 5pm)
Follow the trail of daffodils around the garden solving clues on our annual Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt. Don’t forget to collect your chocolate reward. (£2.50)

Shugborough Estate
There is so much for you to do this Easter at Shugborough Estate. You can try your hand at the zip-wire in the play area, and spot the animals playing out in the field. Families can discover Shugborough’s history of seafaring explorers and hard-working servants in the mansion, servant’s quarters and Lichfield Apartment. Not forgetting The Big Tree Climb and the Little Landscapers Trail. You can also try and complete your ’50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾’ booklet!
Design your own creepy crawlies in our craft tent. The most creative will feature in the May spring trail. Daily between 10 and 13 April 2020

Easter Steam Train Afternoon Tea (Staffordshire, Midlands) – Mad Hatters Tea Party – Churnet Valley Railway (11th – 13th April 2020)
From 15th April 2019 Churnet Valley Railway are opening its doors for you to explore the wonderful world of wonderland for an event that both children of all ages and adults will enjoy. Climb aboard on a train and travel through the stunning Staffordshire countryside with its picturesque views and join in the fun with a range of games and treats. Help Alice find the White Rabbit whilst riding the rails and tuck into a selection of drinks and tasty cakes.

National Forest Adventure Farm – Easter Eggstravaganza (4th – 17th April 2020)
Visit the National Forest Adventure Farm over the Easter holidays for lots of Easter fun!
Meet the Easter bunny, enjoy the Easter Eggspress Tractor and Trailer Ride, follow the woodland path collecting the animal stamps and be entertained by some interesting animal characters before meeting the Easter Bunny! Finally you can help to bottle feed the lambs.

Tamworth Castle (4th – 19th April 2020)
Visit Tamworth Castle over Easter for family fun with a special Easter egg hunt. Ruby the Castle Dragon has disguised her eggs so that the dragon hunter doesn’t find them! Head to the Castle this Easter for this lovely egg hunt.

Amerton Farm, Staffordshire (4th – 19th April 2020)
Head over to Amerton Farm over Easter for some great Easter fun! Help to bottle feed the newly born lambs, handle the bunnies and enjoy a pony ride! There will also be educational activities to be announced shortly!!

Easter Egg Hunt – Apedale Valley Light Railway (April 11th – April 13th )
Easter Egg Hunt. Steam trains 11:30-4pm. Can you spot the Easter Eggs down the railway? Prizes for kids who get them all!

Love Clay – Ceramic Easter Egg Workshop (4th April 2020)
The one day course which takes place at the LoveClay workshop facility at Valentine Clays HQ in Fenton will give you knowledge of ceramic painting and glazing.
At the end of the course your egg and pedestal will be fired ready for you to collect at a later date.
