Instagram.. The first time I used it, I thought it was all about the photos and the filters. I like looking at everyone’s photos, I find inspiration from it everyday and it is a way of being let in to everyones special moments, memories and thoughts. Over time I have really grown to love Instagram. I have learned that it is not always about the photos, but the person, and the moment. I now take time and think about how to take a photo, and how it can best tell the story.
For all you who know my family, you know I am a firm believer in enjoying the great outdoors, I find beauty in letting my children play bare footed, with messy hair, and mud on their clothes. I try to teach them to always be curious..to never stop exploring and to create their own adventures.
I approached Sarah from KippersandCurtains not long back as I loved the bohemian feel to her photographs, and we realised that we both shared a passion for wanting our children to run free, travel, explore and find happiness in the great outdoors.
After much brainstorming, we came up with #freespiritedchildhood
We would like to invite you to join in the community on instagram by posting your photographs of your little one’s being wild..happy..and free spirited and by tagging your photos using the hashtag #freespiritedchildhood.
You are all welcome to join in, – you don’t have to have a blog – just an Instagram account.
We are looking forward to you joining us!
