Monday Escapes 17/6/2019

Hello and Welcome back to Monday Escapes 17/6/2019

Morning everyone! Welcome back to Monday Escapes. I am sorry it has been a while, life has been really hectic with general life, work, an MSc assignment deadline, illness and travel. I am really looking forward to having a few slower weeks with a little time for reading and sharing all of your lovely travel posts. Sorry for my absence, but Daisy has been amazing at keeping everything running while I have been so stretched.

What have we been up to?

A couple of weeks ago we headed to Elderflower Fields Festival at Pippingford Park. I have wanted to attend this family friendly festival for so long and I was really disappointed last year when we couldn’t make it. It is an absolutely lovely family friendly festival with so much to do for families. The sun shone and we had an amazing time with friends, it was really lovely to get out in the campervan too as it has been a while!

(Ad-press trip ) This weekend we were invited to spend the weekend @elderflowerfields. It is a festival I have wanted to go to for ages, and it didn’t disappoint – it is such a magical family friendly festival! The kids spent the weekend dancing, crafting, climbing, and generally running wild. 🍃🌿 the sun shone, oh and the Prosecco went down a treat in the evening with the lovely @travellovinfam 😉 ☀️. It was so lovely to meet some new faces @kippersandcurtains @fuelledbylatte and their beautiful tribes. L O V E D spending the weekend in the #t5camper too …. it’s been a while 🙂 ☀️ 🌿 🌸 Thank you #elderflowerfields2019 for a brilliant weekend and a fab start to our half term 💕 . . . . #elderflowerfields #elderflowerfieldsfestival #festival #festivallife #festivalvibes #halftermfun #vanlife #vanlifediaries #campervanlife #familytravel #travelwithkids #familyadventures #lovelifeoutdoors #lifeoutdoors #campinglife #getoutdoorsmore #explorerkids #snaphappybritmums #travelblogger #festivalwithkids

Leaving the Elderflower Fields Festival we then hopped on a ferry at Portsmouth and made our way to the Dordogne in France with Eurocamp Holidays. What a wonderful week we had with friends. Our week saw lots of pool time, lazy days in the sunshine and days spent exploring the beautiful villages and towns near to our parc.

Our Favourite posts from last time

Thanks again for linking up to Monday Escapes. we both loved Kiddieholidays – 11 Reasons To Take Your Toddler To The North York Moors National Park This Year so many places we have not visited and I still can’t believe we haven’t visited Whitby yet!

Monday Escapes

Monday Escapes is a place to share and look back at your favourite travel memories; from day trips, holidays, trips of a life time and everything else in between. It doesn’t  have to be a written post, we love you to share your favourite travel snapshots too. Monday Escapes is simply a place for you to link up with like-minded people and share your travel and adventures, and hopefully grab some travel inspiration along the way.

The linky is now run by Daisy at Dais Like These and myself at Otis and Us.

Monday Escapes what’s in it for you

Monday Escapes is an opportunity to share you favourite travel posts, memories or photos.

The thing to remember is that you’ll be sharing your lovely travel posts with a like-minded community and grabbing some travel inspiration for yourself. As a bonus you have a chance to have your blog post featured on mine and Daisy’s blogs each fortnight and therefore introducing your blog to even more people. We will also re-tweet anyone who uses the #MondayEscapes hashtag.

We are also absolutely delighted to link up with Lonely Planet to offer our number one favourite blog post of the fortnight either a destination guide, or a title from the Lonely Planet Kids range. (See T&C’s below). Just another great reason to link up with Monday Escapes!
