Set in the heart of the Dutch Countryside, in the Achterhoek region and close to the German border is a wonderful 5 star holiday parc. Camping De Twee Bruggen has exceptional amenities and in an ideal location to explore the surrounding areas.
We are no stranger to a Eurocamp holiday having grown up experiencing Eurocamp holidays in France as a child. Over the last few years we have stayed at a number of Eurocamp parks in France with our three children and honestly love the outdoor living that Eurocamp offers. We were looking forward to heading over to the Netherlands for a Summer break.

Eurocamp Holidays
Eurocamp offer amazing outdoor family holidays at over 400 European parcs. There are options for everyone, with beachside parcs, parcs near cities, toddler friendly parcs and dog friendly parcs. There are a wide range of destinations to choose from with a variety of accommodation options. Eurocamp features holiday parcs across a number of European countries including France, Croatia, Italy and Spain.
This Summer, we headed to Netherlands and stayed for a week with Eurocamp at De Twee Bruggen. Here is our honest Eurocamp de Twee Bruggen REVIEW
Eurocamp – Camping De Twee Bruggen
We spent a considerable time looking at the Netherland Eurocamp parc options before finally deciding on De Twee Bruggen. De Twee Bruggen is considered an outdoor lover’s dream destination, and a wild-swimmer’s paradise, and this definitely influenced our decision! we were looking for a family friendly parc with a relaxed vibe, activities onsite for kids, and plenty of things to do nearby too.
The parc is located in the heart of the Dutch Countryside but a short drive into Germany, it is perfect for cycling and with good access to local villages, towns and cities.
We opted for the Dover to Calais crossing with P&O Ferries. Check-in was smooth and straightforward and the crossing was great. On arrival to Calais the drive to De Twee Bruggen took around 5 hours from door to door, and was generally a straightforward drive, crossing into Belgium and Netherlands. We were expected to arrive outside the check-in times for the Eurocamp team, but the Eurocamp team got in touch with us a couple of hours prior to our arrival and provided us with all the relevant check-in information.
The Parc is open for this season until 1 Nov 2026 and then 25 Mar 2027 through to 31 Oct 2027
De Twee Bruggen Address:
Meenkmolenweg 13, 710 AH | Winterswijk
Nearest ferry port is Hook of Holland (196 km) and the nearest airport is Düsseldorf Airport (93.5 km). We travelled from Calais port and this took just over 5 hours.
Camping De Twee Bruggen Pool Complex
De Twee De Bruggen is a large parc with 650 pitches but it is widely spaced out and didn’t feel busy.
The parc offers indoor and outdoor pools and three waterslides, there’s also a toddler splash pool and my favourite place to be….the new wild swimming pond. The swimming pond is beautiful and one of a kind. Surrounded by natural plants and sunbathing lawns, the swimming pond is the perfect place for a little rest and relaxation.

We travelled at the end of the August holidays and into the August bank holiday and the indoor pool was generally busy most days but the outdoor pool, rides and swimming pond was lovely and we were able to secure loungers every day throughout the day.

Camping De Twee Bruggen Facilities
The parc is a large parc and there is plenty to do for kids of all ages.
You can choose from;
- Tennis courts
- Pump Track
- Mini golf
- An indoor gym (free to use for guests of the parc)
- Ten pin bowling… *Additional cost
- Volleyball
- Cycle hire
- Adventure parc
- Pool complex and water slides
- Kids’ Club: 4-12 (Parc run)

There is a supermarket on site that is well equipped with all the things that you need for your stay. Enjoy a dinner at Restaurant De Schoppe, or opt for a takeaway or a snack from the bar just on the poolside. We ordered pizza on arrival to the parc on the first night and it was delivered to our mobile home within the time frame we specified. Absolutely delicious too!
Camping De Twee Bruggen Accommodation

We stayed in a 3 bedroom premium mobile home, sleeping 6, with air conditioning and covered decking.
The accommodation has a double room, and two twins rooms, a well appointed kitchen, separate toilet and a bathroom equipped with shower and sink. There is also a hairdryer in the bathroom too. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, a kettle, toaster and microwave plus a coffee machine!
The living area has double patio doors leading out onto the covered decking area, and there is adequate seating outside and a BBQ too.
The mobile home offered a perfect base for our Eurocamp holiday. On arrival tt was clean and fully equipped. We loved that the mobile homes were positioned around the edge of the grassy area allowing a safe environment for our children to play games and meet other children in the middle of the field.
Things to know. -Eurocamp Twee De Bruggen

The first thing to do on arrival is download the Twee De Bruggen app. This provides you with all the parc information, opening hours, a map of the parc, and activities and reservations.
You can also order your takeaway pizza via the app to be delivered straight to your mobile home.
If you opt for cycle hire this can be done in the main reception area each day at an additional cost (Price depends on thy type of bike you hire). We paid just under £40 for an adult road bike, an adult mountain bike and children’s road bike for the day. Do get to the reception on opening as the cycle hire is popular.
There is plenty to see and do nearby including a beautiful lake. We cycled into Bredevoort and also into Winterswijk along the cycle paths. Plenty of places for food and drink and market day is on a Wednesday I believe and well worth a visit

Wifi is available throughout the park. You do not need a login code for this.
Days out
There are plenty of great days our nearby and we only wished we could stay longer to explore the area more.
Movie Park in Germany was highly recommended to us and is an epic theme park suitable for kids of all ages and around an hours drive from Twee de Bruggen.
We visited the local town of Winterswijk and cycled here, (it is about half an hour but did take u a little longer with kids!)
Bredevoort is a picturesque little town located in the eastern part of the Netherlands and here you will find medieval streets and houses, small restaurants and a number of honesty book stores. We visited on our bikes and it is a lovely ride from our Eurocamp parc.
We also visited Efteling theme park during our trip, which was an AMAZING day out. It’s about an hour and a half drive from De Twee Bruggen and in my opinion, well worth the drive. It is well signposted and a generally straightforward drive.
Bommelwereld is an indoor amusement park in Groenlo, again highly recommended although we did not visit ourselves. Here you can enjoy a day full of adventure with the whole family. Led by Olivier B. Bommel and Tom Poes.
De Twee Bruggen is also a short walk through the parc from a recreational lake and beach called Slingeplas which is a lovely visit, epic sunsets here too.
Finally we visited Bocholt in Germany. A great place for a shop and a stroll and plenty of places to stop and have a coffee or a bite to eat. We can highly recommend Cafe Extrablatt Bocholt with plenty of options for children and also lots of vegetarian and vegan options too.

Eurocamp Review – Camping De Twee Bruggen: Final Thoughts
We had an amazing week here as a family of five. I have been asked so many times if the parc is great for older kids. Our children were aged 9, 12 and 15 at the time of our travels, and I can honestly say that all of our children had a great time. We were looking for a parc with plenty to do for the kids but also with a quieter more relaxed vibe, and De Twee Bruggen ticked all the boxes for us.
The pool complex is excellent and the outdoor natural swimming pond is so unique. I love outdoor swimming and this was such a treat and I loved the tranquil vibes. We were also able to use the gym during our stay, it was at no additional cost for guests. The WiFi was free and available throughout the parc and having had to pay for internet during our travels this can be really costly if there are a few devices. So final thoughts on De Twee Bruggen – we loved it here, an absolute gem of a parc and we would return in a heartbeat.
