There really is a campsite for everyone. So without further ado…. Here are our best campsites in the Lake District for families!

Lake district camping

We have visited the Lake District most years since we converted our VW T5. We are a family of five with a huge, but equally beautiful golden retriever dog, and we all genuinely love our campervan. We have to be clever with our campervan storage (packing cubes are a life saver!!), but we love the life that vanlife gives us. Loads of time outdoors, doing what we love. We spend so much time researching campsites. We love to have activities nearby so that we don’t HAVE to move the camper van on a daily basis. The campsites below are both family friendly and dog friendly, and have plenty to do nearby.
