Camping Shower tents
A portable camping shower tent is a great option for outdoors and is a must have for any camping enthusiast, particularly if you love your ‘off grid’ adventures.
Camping shower tents are easy to use, and often have a pop-up design making it easy to put up/pack away and easy to transport. If you love your outdoor activities (hiking, cold water swimming or paddleboarding for example) then a privacy tent is a ideal as it also works as a changing tent, or a place to store all your outdoor gear.
Space in the VWT5 can be tight, and we have used an additional pop-up tent or portable shower tent as an additional storage space for years. We often store personal items such as our SUP boards, scooters, outdoor camping gear, and car seats etc when they are not in use, making it a great camper storage hack for vanlife
Having an additional ‘separate room’ nearby the campervan is great even if you are staying on a campsite with wash room facilities as you don’t have to dart across the field when the weather conditions are poor – a great option for when you have young children.

A good quality shower tent offers a place to have a quick shower or freshen up if you are in a campervan, camping, hiking, participating in watersports. It is all down to personal preference when deciding on which shower tent to buy. Here are a few things to think about when choosing your portable privacy tent.
Height
A shower tent needs to be high enough for you to stand up straight. The majority of tents that we have listed here range between 190cm and upto 220 cm so great for taller people too.
Have a look at how small the tent folds and if they have extra features such as a carry bag for easy storage and transportation. A pop-up shower tent often take minutes to put up with no assembly required, but can sometimes take a little longer to fold and store back in the carry bag!
