Why we loved ClubFest 2025 with The Caravan and Motorhome Club

This was our first time attending ClubFest with The Caravan and Motorhome Club and we absolutely loved it. The festival was held at the picturesque Bolesworth Castle, Cheshire on Friday 23 and Monday 26 May 2025.

We love a festival and there are loads of vanlife festivals happening over the UK for 2025!

Here are five reasons why we loved ClubFest 2025, and why you need to book for next year!

Location

This year ClubFest 2025 was held at the the beautiful Bolesworth Castle and was the perfect location for a festival. With the castle as a backdrop it proved a beautiful location and the site wasn’t too large, meaning that you could find things easily and get from A to B fairly quickly

The vibe

The first festival in a while that the vibe was noticeably chilled and it felt very safe. Everyone was really friendly and I loved all the people that came over to say hello to our golden retrievers.

It was clean, everyone was really respectful and it just had a really nice feel to the festival.

It is really family friendly and there was not any long queues, and there was plenty to keep all ages entertained.

The family friendly activities

I LOVED that everything was included with your ticket. There were so many kids activities including stand up paddleboarding, with your ticket for the weekend so you can try out stand-up paddleboarding, axe throwing, forest foraging or climbing. There was also a football tournament, inflatables, slack lines, and archery on offer with no additional fees.

ClubFest 2025

Having attended other festivals where the activities were *payable. This is a breathe of fresh air that the activities were all included. You did need to book on for some of the activities, and if you have day passes it did mean that some of the activities were booked up early in the mornings for the day.

What I will also add is there were some lovely food options throughout the weekend, places for tea and coffee, and we also sampled some amazing donuts too!

ClubFest 2025 – Dog Friendly

ClubFest is dog friendly and there were so many beautiful and well behaved dogs enjoying the festival this year.

ClubFest 2025

We took both of our golden retrievers and they had so much fuss from all the dog lovers out there!

It makes it really special when ALL the family can enjoy the festival without having to leave our fur babies at home. There were also plenty of dog friendly activities over the festival with K9 shows and demonstrations.

Live Music

If you love live music, there was something for everyone. Bands included Go Your Own Way, (Fleetwood Mac tribute), ColdPlace (Cold play tribute) Lightning Seeds, Boyzlife and Whitney, Queen of the Night headlining, plus many more.

ClubFest 2025

A huge hit was the silent disco – the kids absolutely loved the whole experience, from the music, the dancing, the headphones and even experiencing a bit of group barn dancing thrown in!

The Club hosts a number of events throughout the year including pop-up campsites where they will be hosting The Big Little Wellness Weekend at Holkham Hall in Norfolk from Friday 15th August to Sunday 17th August 2025 so watch out for that one too!

AD – we were invited to ClubFest 2025 for the weekend but have not been asked to write this review. We loved the weekend and wanted to share our reasons why with you.
