Eurocamp La Croix du Vieux Pont Facilities

There is plenty to see and do at La Croix du Vieux Pont and it is PERFECT for families. It has made it in to our top Eurocamp parcs in France.

It is a large with 623 pitches. The biggest draw for us was that is was one of the Eurocamp parcs open over the Easter holidays. It also had an epic waterpark which is always the top of the list for kids when you go on holiday. It also had a heated indoor pool which is perfect when you can’t guarantee the weather. There is also a toddler pool with slides.

Eurocamp La Croix du Vieux Pont REVIEW

The parc offers pools with a retractable roof for all-weather swimming. There are twisty waterslides, fountains featuring bridges and rocky embankments. The pool was clean and not too busy throughout our stay. I loved that were also outdoor pools and a small lagoon lake with a beach and sun loungers to soak up the sun and watch the kids have fun.

There are so many activities on the parc for kids, including pedals, canoeing, a games room, sports areas, tennis and table tennis, mini golf, fishing, cycle hire, archery, and trampolines. Plus there are kids clubs available here too.

La Croix du Vieux Pont to Disneyland Paris

The main draw for us was the opportunity to visit Disneyland Paris (and yes we made it work and managed to visit Disneyland Paris with our dog!)

We had fully researched travelling into Paris with our golden retriever, and whilst it was not entirely straight forward (there is a requirement to wear a muzzle on some transport) we managed to make use of the bus transfer from La Croix du Vieux Pont directly to Disneyland Paris with our three children and our dog.

Disneyland Paris has a fantastic pet sitting service that allowed us to spend a day at Eurocamp Paris with the children. The petsitting service is a first come first served and is situated just by the main entrance. You can’t reserve this service it is first come first served and it does get busy on weekends and holidays. It cost us 25 euros for the day, and we were able to visit as much as we liked and also take Wilf for a walk throughout the day too. You will need to bring proof of vaccinations and animal health certificate so don’t forget your documents.

La Croix du Vieux Pont – dog friendly

There are a number of dog friendly Eurocamp Parcs in France and La Croix du Vieux Pont is one of them. Obviously you need to clean up after your dog, keep them on a lead and they are not allowed in the swimming areas or children’s play areas.

There are dog friendly accommodation options so do check before you book.

There are a few things you need to consider if you are travelling from the Uk to France with your dog, including micro chipping, rabies injections and Animal Health Certificate within 10 days of your departure date. You also need to visit a vet in France to get tapeworm treatment administered between 1 and 5 days before returning to the UK. The Eurocamp parc reception staff were really helpful with this one.
