Family Travel Bloggers to follow on Instagram

Introduction – Family Travel Bloggers to follow on Instagram

I have always loved instagram. I love the beautifully edited tiny squares of daily life, home interiors and travel. I have a really passion for photography, not that I would ever profess to being particularly good at it, I still love to capture our travel and outdoor life. It has almost become a kind of diary for us, documenting our travel, road trips and journeys with three kids in tow. You can find out more and follow me here. I wanted to put together a collection of some of my most favourite UK Family travel bloggers over on Instagram. These accounts are a constant inspiration to me, and I now have an ever growing bucket list full of beautiful places to visit with our children. Here are a few of my favourites Family Travel Bloggers to follow on Instagram ……

Mummy Travels

Beaches worldwide are a favourite but Cathy and her daughter love to chase blue skies around the world. From cities to countryside to coast, Cathy’s feed is full of stunning bright colours and a huge amount of travel inspiration. Here recent trip to Corsica has me in love!

Dais Like These

My fellow Monday Escapes host – Daisy has three kids and her IG grid is full of the most beautiful pictures of them enjoying anything from a local day out to a trip of a lifetime, and everything else in between! Throw in a pretty destination shot or two, and you have a whole host of family travel inspiration. I loved following Daisy’s recent trip to France where her boys got to experience school in France!

Travelynn Family

Jenny and her family aim to push the boundaires of family travel and dispel the myth that adventure needs to wait until the kids are older (her boys are aged 3 and 4). On her grid find inspiration from their epic African roadtrip and adventures through Asia (particuarly India). They have recently found home in the beautiful Peak District and I love to see their outdoor adventures and family walks. Here feed forever makes me smile.

This @landrover is really part of the family now. She takes us on these amazing adventures and keeps us safe. Our whole lives are inside and we really need nothing more. Not sure we’ll be able to return her @wildlife_and_photo_safaris 😜 .. .. .. #LandRover70years #landroveruk #landrover #landroverdefender #onelifeliveit #familytravel #travelwithkids #fearlessfamtrav #wearetravelmums #showthemtheworld #explorerkids #lpkids #lppathfinders #uktravelblogger #tmom #toddlertravel #vanlife #vanlifediaries #overlanding #travelafrica #ourtribetravels #passionpassport #traveljunkies #onlyafrica #campinglife #camping #landroveroffroad #landrover70 #defenderlife #landroverclub

A Modern Mother

Susanna ‘s Instagram is full of travel inspiration for families with teens. From California to Cornwall and everywhere in between.

Sorry about the Mess

Chloe documents family travel with her 3 boys aged 7 and under. Her forte is her visually engaging travel videos that capture the essence of why we treasure family holidays so much – the special moments and the memory making.

Pigeon Pair and Me

Nell has an eye for the scenic and beautiful. She prefers landscapes to family snaps, but you might just catch the occasional picture of her eight- and six-year old sneaking into her feed.

Urquhart Castle is in a fairytale location, on the banks of Loch Ness. But the beautiful ruins hide a bloody past. On our Rebellion Tour with Loch Ness by Jacobite, we learned how the castle saw battles between Scots and English, Royalists and Jacobites. You’d never have guessed that from the peaceful, beautiful views, though. Our tour gave us a two-hour window to explore the towers, dungeons and grassy banks of the castle before we sailed back to Dochgarroch Lock. The time just flew by. #ad #presstrip . . . . . #urquhartcastle #lochness #MoreThanAMonster #scotland #visitscotland #lovescotland #scotlandisnow #YOYP2018 #travel #familytravel #guardiantravelsnaps #bbctravel #culturetrip #ukexplore #ukftb #ftb100 #wanderlust #travelmore #highlands #scottishhighlands #familytravelblogger #parentbloggersuk #snaphappybritmums #traveltheworld #culturedkids #travelwithkids #travelblogger #historicscotland

Tin box Traveller

One of the first family travel blogs I found over on Instagram I have followed her ever since -Claire fills her grid with moments captured during her travels and family adventures in the UK and Europe. There’s also a good helping of fun at home in goregous Devon in the South West of England. The cheeky smiles of her two daughters, aged five and three feature a lot, but Claire is also partial to an epic view.

Like Love Do

This girl loves to travel!!! Donna loves a bright coloured photo and has an eye for seeing something different. You will be sure to find snaps from all over the world as well as plenty of London historic sights, bars and restaurants.

My Travel Monkey

Follow Ting and her travel monkeys on their adventures at home and abroad. You’ll find a mix of scenery and family shots which are bright and engaging. If you’re looking for family travel inspiration then there’s plenty here…

Jennifer is a US-born, London-based journalist who celebrates family travel with flair, from camel-riding to cocktails

We Blog Travel

Amanda, the Tall Fella and their two girls (9 and 16) share images of their family adventures both close to home and further afield.

Travel blogging and selfies go hand in hand don’t they. 😂

Wandermust Family

Leona, her husband and daughter love adventure and luxury travel. Her IG grid is full of fantastic family travel inspiration from hiking the Great Wall of China to experiencing luxury in the Middle East with everything in between from their recent Round the World Trip! They are just about to embark on a new chapter in the Wandermust Family life, can’t wait to follow her next journey.

Suitcase and Sandcastles

Clare loves telling stories with photos of beautiful places. Her grid is always filled with beautiful colour and family travel inspiration from Greek islands to UK beaches, European city breaks to fun cultural finds.

Do you get the post holiday blues? We’ve only been back in the UK a few days and I’m already longing for Greek island idylls like this gorgeous harbour at Heronissis on the island of Sifnos. We spent hours here – reading on the beach, taking photos and eating a seafood lunch overlooking the water. It all seems a long time ago now. I haven’t picked up a book since I finished Arundhati Roy’s brilliant new novel in the airport departure lounge. I’ve spent the last few days shopping for new school uniforms, pencil cases and school shoes and trying to get two weeks of holiday washing dry in between the rain showers. On the plus side, one of the boys has decided he needs to make a Death by Chocolate cake so provided he doesn’t cause too much destruction in the kitchen, the day should end well… @youareheresifnos @visitgreecegr @discover.greece @cyclades_islands @beautifulcyclades #ttot

Monkey and Mouse

Jenny loves to show her followers the best of Scotland with her two home educated, curly haired, 7 and 5 year olds. Aside from Scotland they spend time every year choosing several different countries to visit around the world.

Katja, her three children (3, 8 and 11) and her Instgram-shy husband have recently returned to the UK after nearly 12 years living abroad (Australia, India and Mexico). She’s just as likely to share trips from far-flung lands as she is days out in London and is a firm believer that you can – and should! – take your kids everywhere.

T I G H T R O P E  One of our favourite performances at the @JustSoFestival was the high wire act from the #BulziniFamily. • This high wire walk took place on the Saturday night in front of the main house on the Rode Hall Estate and was spectacular! They walked forwards, backwards, cycled and more across the high wire, all without a safety net! 😱 • The Bulzini Family also offered tightrope workshops over the course of the three day festival. Fortunately this tightrope was a little closer to the ground 😥😂 . . . . #lovelysquares #ukblogger #gofurther #loveyourtimetogether #snaphappybritmums #fivestarkids #globetottingkids #discovertheworld #kidsunplugged #tmom #ftb100 #tbin #familytravel #travelwithkids #takeyourkidseverywhere #adventurekids #explorekids #lpkids #NGkids #Passportkids #familytrip #familytraveltribe #tbscommunity #havekidswilltravel #familymemories #kidswhotravel #ukftb #JustSoFestival #Festivals

Great day out today with friends at @sundown.adventureland . I only heard of this place recently despite it being 50 years old! (and it’s only 50 minutes from where I live.) It’s a theme park for under 10’s which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Each area has a theme from the Wild West, to Robin Hood, Toy Town, Pirates, Fairytales and so much more (including amazing play areas!) We paid for this ourselves and thought it was pretty good value. The new Safari drive (kids get to drive their own car with simple stop and go pedals) was a huge hit as was the fairytale village. Lots of interactive things to do which made familiar tales come alive! Mini Travellers

I love following Karen over on Instagram. Karen shares her adventures on the grid which range from days out in the uk, to camping, to 5 * luxury villas to African family travel. Her trip to Malawi was just inspirational.

Travel Loving Family

Lisa’s IG grid is full of travel inspiration for families with young children from camping and music festivals to self drive boating holidays and luxury family cruises. Her trip to the Italian Lakes placed Lake Maggiore on our radar, and her recent boating holiday in France was just awesome!

Juggling on Roller Skates

Zoe and her family love life outdoors and try to explore all of the places on their doorstep…and beyond. They love to glamp (we love to glamp) so I have lots of love for her Instagram feed

Have Kids Can Travel

Laura and her photographer husband document their family adventures across the UK & Europe. With their 3 teens and an almost-teen, you’ll find plenty of outdoor action, big skies and as many mountains as they can walk up.

One Tiny Leap

Maria wants to dispel the myth that having children makes traveling impossible, and wants to inspire families to get out of the comfort zone and go explore the world around them, even if it’s the woods/beach/mountain near where they live.

Pod Travels

Charly shares her overseas travels and UK adventures with her 7 year old daughter and husband. Always with a camera in hand, her feed focuses on places and people with discovery, exploration and adventure at the heart.

We’re on a cruise boat around the Maddalena archipelago today. It’s a trip organised by Baia dei Mori, our @neilsonholidays resort in Sardinia. We had a look round the pretty harbour town of La Maddalena earlier before sailing to the stunning Spargi. Spargi is an Italian island situated in the strait of Bonifacio between Sardinia and Corsica. There are 4 small bays in Spargi, all with beautiful soft sand and clear turquoise waters filled with shoals of fish. All 3 of us got to swim here. It was just heavenly especially being surrounded by interesting rock formations and caves with the bright blue skies above us #relaxashardasyoulike 🐠🐠🐠

Mum on the Brink

Monika’s account shares their crazy adventures sailing, campervanning and days out, as well as showing how living with less helps them travel more.

Go Live Young

Nicky share the most beautiful photos over on Instagram of travel, and outdoor life. She has well and truly put Norway on the map for us – just incredible!

We’ve arrived in the Lofoten Islands #Norway and they’ve taken a bit of an effort to get to. Two flights, an overnight in Bodø, where we picked up a hire car, then a 3.5 hour ferry to the islands. Yay 😁! .. .. The Lofoten Islands are inside the Arctic Circle at the 68th and 69th parallel. The word Lofoten means ‘foot of the lynx’ but I don’t know where that comes from yet! .. .. The Lofoten Islands are known for their spectacular scenery, dramatic mountains and peaks rising from the sea and unspoilt beaches. We’ll be hoping to get a real flavour of the islands over coming days but for now it’s early to bed 😴. .. .. .. #lofoten #lofotenislands #hamnøy #eliassenrorbuer #rorbuer #arcticlife #visitlofoten #visitnorway #bestofnorway #instanorway #norge #travelinspiration #beautifuldestinations #beautifulplaces #familytravel #bringthekids #travelwithkids #traveljunkies #traveltheworld #showthemtheworld #goadventuretogether #neverstopexploring #goexplore #explorerkids #bbctravel #passionpassport #worldschooling #lpfanphoto #lppathfinders

Two weeks until this.☝🏻💙 Can you believe it? Because I sure can’t. All that planning and now the six-week trip of dreams is almost in sight. 😁 Although, before the calm and tranquility of a road trip with three young kids {😳🤔😂}, the next two weeks are going to be batshit crazy with a side order of stress. 🦇 #deepbreaths Oh and to add a new distraction into the mix, we’ve just been given the green light on an anniversary mini break in the Autumn. WITH NO KIDS. 🙌🏻 We’re thinking Marrakech – has anyone been? Because sure, why not start planning the next adventure before the first one has even started. 🤣 #borntovoyage #keeponplanning #ilovetravel
