A couple of years ago we have an amazing time exploring the South Coast of England, and the West Coast of France with our kids in our VW T5. This is one of my FAVOURITE features. The sat nav local spots feature allows you to search for local spots, museums, coasts, parks, gardens and natural sites around your chosen destination. This is a great feature as it allows you to discover all the local places to visit along your route.

The road trip feature helps you to discover your planned road trip route. It is really easy to navigate too, you can add stop offs and destinations along your route to build your road trip.

The 6.95″ sat nav has a good sized screen that is easy to read with a high resolution touchscreen display.
Live traffic and Weather
Basically, this feature allows you to chase the sunshine!!! Having spent hours stuck on the motorway and adding hours to the journey time. This feature is a life saver! Pair with the Garmin Drive™ app on your smartphone, to access live traffic updates and to help you avoid find the detours. It also gives you live fuel prices, the weather forecast and more.

I absolutely love this sat nav. We are a family who love to explore and enjoy the great outdoors. We have never been huge planners….. we much prefer the spontaneous side of travel and those last minute adventures. The CamperVan sat nav really allows us to do that. It helps us to put together a road trip easily, and helps us to discover those wonderful hidden gems and local beauty spots along the way.

I think we have only touched the surface with this wonderful piece of kit. I am so excited to use it for our October half term road trip and also for our adventure later on in the year (more on that later). We will definitely be skipping the planning and just hitting the road to see where the journey takes us!
