If you are looking for a laid back holiday with the kids then let me introduce you to the Island of Guernsey – a hidden gem in the British Isles. We hop on the Condor ferry from Poole and visit Guernsey year after year, having fallen in love with the laid back vibe, beautiful white sandy beaches, and incredible people. There are plenty of accommodation options for your stay in Guernsey, but if you are planning to take a campervan to Guernsey then let me introduce you to Beaucette Marina for campervans. Here is our Beaucette Marina review.
Campervans at Beaucette Marina: REVIEW
Guernsey currently has four campsites on the island. Having previously stayed at Fauxquets Valley Campsite (you can read our full review here), we were really looking forward to staying on a different part of the islands at Beaucette Marina.
Beaucette Marina has been signed specifically with campervans in mind. The site has twelve campervans pitches (eight standard pitches and four larger bays), and each spacious pitch has a picnic area, electricity and water.
Where is Beaucette Marina located?
Beaucette Marina is located on the North of the island, with an award-winning restaurant and bar on site and and just a short walk to local beaches.

Beaucette Marina Facilities
This family friendly site offers the perfect base for a laid back and relaxing holiday. The site has 12 campervan pitches – however if you don’t have a campervan, then Beaucette Marina also has a number of lovely shepherd huts, all equipped with a hot-tub and a beautiful view of the sea.
You can book a Shepherd Hut break here.
The campsite is extremely family friendly and is also dog friendly. There are some beautiful walks direct from the campsite which I particularly love as it is always nice not to have to pack up and move the campervan every day, and also great to have nearby walks with the dog.
The pitch has water and electric hook up and a picnic area with a wooden picnic bench too.
The shower and washroom block had a key code to enter and was always immaculate, and not too far from our campervan pitch.
Dogs are welcome and there is plenty of space for free-range kids to play and enjoy the outdoor space. There is WiFi on site accessed from out pitch, and a small washing up block for dishes. Although we didn’t have chance to eat at the restaurant this time, there is an award-winning restaurant on site that has excellent reviews.

Beaucette Marina – Final Thoughts
Beaucette Marina is the perfect base to explore the Island of Guernsey. The site is immaculate, well run and the staff really friendly – nothing was ever too much trouble. This well maintained and quiet site has excellent facilities including Saltwater restaurant, beautiful shepherds huts and fully serviced campervan pitches. We absolutely loved that you can hire a bike from the reception or head out on a beautiful walk and hit the beach in less that 20 minutes. One more thing to mention – the sunsets here are incredible!
We would 100% stay here again and will most definitely be back!
