For as long as I remember, I have always loved taking photos. It is true what they say – a picture is worth a thousand words – and there really is nothing better than looking back through old photographs and smiling at the good, the bad and the ‘not so styled’. Memories are priceless, don’t you think? I don’t know about you – but I have thousands of photographs stored on my camera roll, saved in my iCloud and stored on my laptop. Gone are the days where we used to process album upon album of photographs. I actually miss those days…I fondly remember the excitement of heading to the photo processing store, and then literally laughing outside the shop, looking through all the photos that you took with a disposable camera (do you remember those days?). Fast forward to days of deleting and re taking every photo until you get the ‘perfect smile’ and the days of sharing on social media rather than printing out photographs, storing in  ‘iCloud’ or ‘dropbox’ and having to wade through tens of thousands of photos on your camera roll to find the photo that you are looking for.

I think I have mentioned before…but this year I have made a real conscious effort to print off photos. We have a photo wall and I am trying to add photos from each and everyone one of our trips. I also love to try new and innovative ways of personalising items with our photographs. More recently I have used some lovely photos of my little tribe to customise items such a phone cover. When My Personalised Case got in touch with me to try out their products and service – I couldn’t wait to showcase their personalised phone cases and gifts.

Design your own phone case

If you follow my blog you will know that we are huge lovers of spending time outdoors, camping, glamping and generally enjoying the simple things in life. We love to explore and I am forever capturing memories on my phone or my camera of our little tribe enjoying outdoor life. Just recently I have really struggled with my phone battery, and it seems to lose its charge quickly, leaving me without a phone until we can somehow find power…not always the easiest when you are out in the middle of nowhere with little amenities or power. My personalised case have a great range of items from personalised phone covers to personalised power banks and speakers. I love that you can design your own phone case or battery pack.  We tried out the personalised power bank to provide peace of mind when we are out and about. It is lightweight and weighs around 158g and is around 13mm in thickness – so it is super easy to carry around. I only have to look at the power bank and I am instantly transported to a cool and blustery day on the beach at St Ives, eating a pasty on the beach and watching the littles run wild.

For a travel loving, outdoor loving, campervan loving mama….It is so lovely to take a little memory with me everywhere, and more importantly – I can now charge my phone wherever we go, pause time for a second to keep on capturing those wonderful memories.

So here is our My Personalised Case review. Do you like to design your own phone cover?
