EZ Shopper Stand up paddle board for kids review
Stand up paddle boarding or SUP was something we really got in to just after lockdown. What is paddleboarding you may ask? Stand up Paddleboarding (SUPs) is a water sport born from surfing whereby stand up paddle boarders balance on a board floating in water and use a paddle to move through the water. The sport has become increasingly popular over the last couple of years probably because it is a great sport that all can enjoy no matter what your skill level.
As a family of five, with three young children, we love our VWT5 campervan and take any opportunity to get away even for just one night. We recently headed to Anglesey, with a plan to hit the beach and try out our EZ shopper kids stand up paddle board.

We are by no means experts at paddle boarding and with three young children and a lively golden retriever, we need equipment that is straightforward to transport and quick to set up.

So why do we love the EZ shopper Stand up paddleboard for kids?
There are so many reasons why we love the EZ Shopper 9′ paddleboard. Firstly paddle boarding is a great physical work out yet provides an opportunity to relax and unwind surrounded by nature. Furthermore, it is a really sociable activity and we love nothing more than taking the paddle board out with our friends. The kids absolutely love stand up paddle boarding. I am not sure we could leave for a van trip without packing the the wetsuits and lifejackets!

The EZ Shopper Inflatable paddle board comes with everything you need to get started out on the water and packs into one bag for ease. The paddleaboard comes complete with a pump, leash, repair kit, removable fin and paddle. The instructions are straightforward to follow too.
Stability
Our three children love spending time out on the water and as they are varying ages, stability is key. The kids SUP is made from high quality PVC which is drop stitched for strength and durability and inflates up to 15psi therefore doesn’t flex under foot. The board is designed to ensure that it is thin (only 4.7″ thick) and rigid enough for the user weight.
A Great all rounder
The paddleabord is designed for kids but is also great for adults upto 60kg. The aluminium paddle is light weight and adjustable for all heights also meaning that it is great for sitting, kneeling and standing. It is the smallest of the EZ Board family too so it is easier to carry down the beach and also easier for a child to carry!

I loved the little added extras. There is an action cam / GoPro mounting point and kayak seat attachment point fitted as standard! The kayak seat is available to purchase separately making this a really versatile kit.
Final thoughts on the EZ Shopper stand up paddlebaord for kids
Keeping in mind there is a 60kg weight limit – this paddleboard is a wonderful all rounder, great for the a day at the river or on the beach, easy to carry and currently on offer at £199.99 offers great value for money. Literally endless hours of fun in a backpack!!
