Best family friendly music festivals
A family friendly music festival is a great opportunity to introduce the kids to live music and entertainment, not to mention street food, and family friendly outdoor activities, workshops and crafts!
We love any opportunity to throw out the routine, throw on the sequins and glitter, and dance the weekend away, and there are so many AMAZING family friendly festivals in the UK this year – you will be spoilt for choice.
We have listed the best family festivals in the UK for 2024 with a huge choice of outdoor activities, child friendly workshops, live music, shows and entertainments.
Wondering if you can survive a festival with little kids? Yes you absolutely can. Festivals are amazing with kids and provide a great opportunity to get the kids outside camping, dancing, practising circus skills and making flower garlands. There is so much on offer for kids of all ages. They will have the time of their lives.
The one piece of advice I could give you when attending a festival with kids, is to not be a slave to the programme. We often wander around aimlessly and I love it that way. I don’t get hung up on timings and possibly leaving areas that the kids are enjoying – just to get to the next destination.
Wondering what to pack for a festival? you may find this post on packing for a festival with kids helpful!
