We have been huge fans of Micro Scooters for years. We love that scootering is suitable for children of all ages and our scooters have grown with out family. Riding a scooter encourages kids to get outside. Riding a scooter is also super fun, greener, and has health benefits. Micro Scooter have so many options for kids of different ages, with 3 wheeled options and 2 wheeled scooters for kids.
What’s more, we find scooters really easy to pack in the campervan. They store well, and the foldable scooters take up hardly any room. They provide hours of fun for the kids on the campsites and I think we have taken them on most of our campervan trips. Plus we have done some lovely walks with the scooters in tow, when those little legs really don’t want to do any walking.
Best Scooter for 7 year old
It is our middle daughter’s 7th birthday and she has asked for a scooter for her birthday. But what is the best scooter for a 7 year old? Do we go for 2 or 3 wheeled scooter? Our 7 year old in particular has asked for a 2 wheeled scooter since seeing her friends with one at school. She is growing up and having seriously mastered the art of scootering, is now desperate for a lovely scooter with 2 wheels. Micro Scooter Micro sprite is suitable for ages 5-12 years with a maximum rider weight of 100kg, and maximum rider height of 110cm-152cm.

So let me tell you about the Micro Scooter 2 wheeled scooter. It comes in a variety of colour options including pink, blue, red and turquoise. We opted for the pink scooter as it is my daughter’s favourite colour but we also have this scooter in aqua too.
The scooter is incredibly lightweight at 2.7kg. It has an adjustable handlebar and another great feature is the Micro sprite classic scooter folds for easy storage. This is a brilliant feature and means that we can always take the scooters with us on our camper van road trips, even when space is extremely tight.

We love that micro scooter have been by our side as our family have grown. We have been lucky enough to try out the Micro Scooter micro trike, the mini Micro Scooter, Maxi Micro, and Sprite classic scooter. Micro Scooter also have a number of accessories including helmets, bells, bags and baskets. There is a Micro Scooter option for all ages and the quality is second to none. The products are built to withstand the toughest of rides and the scooters have really lasted well.
Final thoughts on Microscooter two wheeled scooter
We absolutely love Micro Scooters. The micro sprite is a beautiful 2 wheeled scooter for kids 5 and above. It is lightweight and beautiful quality – it is built to last. The folding feature allow for easy transport and packs into the cupboards in our camper van – great when storage is tight.
Our daughter loves it and can’t wait to take it to school for scooter week!! I am sure it will be accompanying us on many a campervan road trip this Summer.
