The weather is getting a little bit milder and hopefully this will allow for plenty of outdoor activities and days out in Staffordshire. I have also listed a few free half term activities too to entertain the kids too.

Trentham Estate May half term 2024
There is plenty to do for all ages at Trentham Estate. A day out at Trentham Gardens brings plenty of family fun for all ages. You can take a leisurely walk around the lake (you can also bring your dog!) and spot the famous fairies around the lake. Head to the adventure playground, or stop by at the Trentham shops and eateries for cake and hot chocolate. You could also head to Trentham Monkey Forest – home to 140 Barbary macaques!

National Forest Adventure Farm – Dino week

Visit the National Forest Adventure Farm over May half term for a roar-some time! Staffordshire County Show 2024
29th-30th May 2024 at Staffordshire County Showground
There is much to see and do including dancing JCB diggers, Open Show Jumping Championships, a children’s farm, fairground, miniature railway, Punch and Judy and donkey rides. Visitors can also watch the birds of prey, the ferret roadshow, meet giant tortoises and walk an alpaca.
World of Wedgwood – craft studio
Head over to World of Wedgwood for a family friendly day out, and visit the decorating studio, or visit the clay studio for an hour session to make your own unique jasperware creation.

Alton Towers – May half term events 2024
Alton Towers Resort kicks off its 10- year celebration of UK’s CBeebies Land with an all-star line-up and festivities this May. The front lawns will also host live entertainment, food and activities for families to enjoy Bluey and Bingo will be joined by Bandit and Chilli for the ultimate family meet and greet.
All 10-year celebration activity is included in the price of an admission ticket.
