Yuletide at Tatton Park Review
If you have ever come across Wild rumpus, you will know that Wild rumpus are behind the most incredible festivals and events including Timber Festival, Just So Festival, and the Lantern Trail. We love a festival with kids and have many a Festval with kids tip or two to help you along the way.
So back to Yuletide.
I knew it would be something special because we LOVE Just So Festival. Just So festival has been a firm favourite of ours for years and we have visited since the girls in particular were babies!
Yuletide is held at Tatton Park in Cheshire, and for us is not far from Staffordshire, taking us about 40 minutes to drive.

Yuletide is a winter wonderland light trail, full of magic and imagination. Visit Yuletide at Tatton Park and you will step into a world of Fall into a world of folklore, festive tradition and rituals. You can watch as the characters and creatures from winter myths and stories come to life!
Not only is there a magical light trail but there is plenty to see and do including listening to stories, dancing to live music and watching the incredible fire juggling!

Finish the night toasting marshmallows around the campfire!
We loved the glittering light trail, and the kids loved how the characters interacted with the children. We also absolutely loved the rainbow road. absolutely gorgeous!

We did the glittering light trail once and we spent about 2 hours in total at the event. It wasn’t too busy and we were able to spend time walking around the light trial by ourselves. It was minus 2 when we visited and really quite cold. Make sure you wrap up warm and wear gloves and warm socks, the kids did get quite cold by the end of the evening.

Don’t forget to pick up the map as you enter, as this provides all of the times of the performances to allow you to plan your visit.
Food and Drink at Yuletide
You can purchase a cheeky mulled wine whilst the kids are listening to their stories. There is a small stall for hot chocolates and hot drinks, and also a stall serving waffles etc.
You can also purchase pizza just near to the toilets.
Yuletide Final thoughts
We absolutely loved our visit to Yuletide, It is a magical event – perfect to kickstart the festive season, and I loved that it is a little bit different to other light trails.
Wild Rumpus you have done it again!
Pure magic!
