Jesus Christ Superstar REVIEW – Live at the Regent Theatre in Hanley

A fantastic revamped modern take of the classic tells the story through the eyes of Judas with the ever familiar music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice.

An imaginative, industrial style set with a poignant lit up crucifix walkway set the scene for story to unfold through both powerful song and choreography. The very talented Ian McIntosh led a vocally strong cast and his rendition of Gethsemane was particularly moving and left the audience with goosebumps.

The most fabulous cast, incredible costumes, and amazing set design and lighting, to make this a totally unforgettable performance.
